Come to Escalante

Your rustic retreat is nestled on the outskirts of one of Arizona's most historic towns, Williams. Named for the legendary adventurer Bill Williams, the town offers charm and adventurous exploration in its quaint period shops.

Known as the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon," Williams is also renowned for the short stretch of original Route 66 that runs through it and is now its main street. The historic Downtown District, largely unchanged from yesteryear, is perfect for leisurely strolling.

You'll discover that the Grand Canyon is just a short scenic drive from Escalante. Or you can opt to travel via the famed Grand Canyon Railway, which makes excursion into the canyon from its station in Williams.

Flagstaff is only 30 minutes away with its ski mountain, university, healthcare and hospital facilities, vibrant arts activities, festivals, music, dining and nightlife. Nearby highways take you directly to Phoenix, only 150 miles away, as well as Las Vegas and California.
